Over eight years of experience creating delicious, healthy gluten and dairy free alternatives has taught us many things, but perhaps the most important being: gluten and dairy free does not mean flavor free! 

At Two Little Buns, we really care about the goods we sell, and we know what it's like to live with and accommodate food restrictions. We also believe that healthier choices at the food level can bring positive affects to much more. Not only does choosing organic and non-GMO ingredients make for a healthier you, it makes for a healthier more sustained planet.

 We have created a line of breads and other baked goods that rival the texture and flavors of their traditional counterparts.  Imagine enjoying a rich chewy cookie, or perhaps better yet- a hearty sandwich served up on soft fragrant bread. Come visit us at various Farmer Markets and taste for yourself!

We take pride in our delicious goods and choose to make them from only high quality, healthy, alternative ingredients. You can get another car, you can get more clothes, but you can't get a new body! So give it the best fuel possible. Invest wisely, we say!

Since Jess has always had an eye on health, many of her recipes feature 50-70% less sugar and 30-40% less fat than traditional recipes.  Most of our creations add in a layer of heartiness with oats, which are not only good for heart health, but help to lower the glycemic index of the food and provide a more steady energy through the day.

We use all gluten and dairy free ingredients, and about 70% or more of those ingredients are organic and non-GMO. Our goal is to reach 100% organic and non-GMO ingredients, and to one day proudly sport those certified labels. With your support and continued patronage, we will! 

When it comes to gluten free, we realize there are folks with extreme allergies and diseases, others with a mild intolerance, and more still that simply made a life-style choice. That is why we want to be as transparent as possible with our products. We use a brand we have trusted for many years, Bob's Red Mill. However, we currently rent kitchen space in a facility that does process wheat and milk ingredients. We have separate production hours, separate tools and bakeware, and separate storage areas.  All equipment and preparation surfaces are cleaned and sanitized before we begin. Regardless, we do not advise anyone with extreme gluten or dairy allergies to consume our products due to this. We hope to one day grow to the point of owning our own facility, which would be dedicated gluten and dairy free, but as a fledgling business we had to start small just to start at all!

JESS SULLIVAN

BIG BAD baker

After learning of her gluten intolerance, Jess has spent the last 8 years living, cooking, and baking gluten free. She never once let gluten limit her creativity in the kitchen. Through many successes (and a fair amount of failures), she has developed several delicious gluten and dairy free breads and other goods, all inspired by childhood favorites and a few secret family recipes.

Struggling with Ulcerative Colitis for years, Dan finally met Jess and began to see significant improvements in symptoms and overall quality of life with the delicious UC friendly meals she prepared daily. Now, Dan assists Jess in the kitchen, prepping all the dry ingredients, keeping the flow of the kitchen rolling, and maintaining TLB's social media presence.

Okay, maybe these two don't go to the kitchen with Jess and Dan, but Wendy and Walter are THE TRUE TWO little buns! These beloved, rascally pets serve as real life inspiration for our name as well as the logo- which is an original design by Jess!
